RING POWER® is one of the largest CAT® factory distributors in the world. The Company had its beginnings in 1947 when the late L.C. Ringhaver came south from Ohio to manage a ship yard and engine repair shop in Florida. His company continued to grow and in 1961 RING POWER® was named a dealer for CATERPILLAR's® line of marine & industrial engines. The very next year, in March 1962, CATERPILLAR® appointed RING POWER® as a full-line factory distributor handling all CAT® products. In 1975, Mr. L.C. Ringhaver began to turn his rapidly growing business over to his sons. Mr. Randy Ringhaver and his brother Lance continued to successfully grow the business.

In 2003 the two full line CAT® dealerships RING POWER® (Jacksonville, FL) and RINGHAVER Equipment Company® (Tampa, FL) merged into one large group. The merger, effective January 1, 2004 virtually doubled the company's inventory and resources. The Company reached an annual sales revenue in excess of 1 Billion US$, employing more than 2,000 dedicated CAT® experts.

Although the Company has grown through the years, we remain constant in working closely with our customers to assure complete satisfaction. Our technical center is CAT® factory certified. Our own complete in-house machine shop, and state-of-the-art technical facilities are fully staffed with high quality oriented CAT® experts. From computerized diagnostic equipment testing, to rebuilding engines, alternators and cooling systems,.. we have the tools and facilities to do it right. The Company provides a wide spectrum of quality equipment and for many decades RING POWER® has been the world leader in pre-owned quality power systems. RING POWER's new corporate headquarters was completed in March 2005. The new facility, state-of-the-art in every way, is situated on a 150-acre site adjacent to I-95 between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, FL.

In January 2005, RING POWER® purchased PHOENIX Products LLC, a manufacturing and power systems packaging company. PHOENIX Products earned its reputation as the quality manufacturer of fuel storage systems and generator set enclosures, with a particular emphasis on systems for emergency power applications. Unlike some companies that have a "one size fits all" philosophy, PHOENIX Products specializes in custom applications, difficult or unique requirements, and situations where performance, reliability, and longevity are the most important attributes.
